Remember 9/11
From the Commander and membership, welcome to the American Legion Post 268 located in Riviera Beach, Florida web site.

We are an active and growing post with an Auxiliary Unit, SAL Squadron and a Legion Rider Chapter. We are proud to be serving our fellow veterans, active duty military, Disable American Veterans, thier families, the V.A. Hospital and our community!

This months message from your Commander

To the Honorable Members of Post 268: I would like to thank John Busby for teaching me to be a Commander. I have learned much from this gentleman, and I only hope that I may stand in his shadow with honor. We have lost many volunteers due to health reasons and relocation.

The Post is struggling without the monies earned from the dinners and breakfasts that we prepare and serve at a very low cost to our members. We need your help! If you are interested in furthering the growth of our Post, please volunteer so we may prosper and continue to enjoy the privileges that Post 268 offers. We have 223 Legionnaires, and when only 12 members attend meetings, it is both regrettable and disappointing.

I would like to express my gratitude towards everyone who volunteered this past year to make Commander John Busby's command a success. I would personally like to thank Jon Cook aka "Blind Bat" for his dedication and unlimited assistance. As Sec-ond Vice President, I could not have done the job without him. (I know Blind Bat won‘t want the recognition, but I feel the need to acknowledge his undying contribu-tion and devotion to Post 268).
